Fern Moore is the Vice-President
of Finance and Office Administrator at Mike Moore &
Sons. She has over 28 years of practice in the accounting
and office management field.
Fern has been involved with the company since
its birth in 1989 in an advisory capacity overseeing and
assisting with the accounting and office procedures on a
need to basis. In December of 2001 she commenced working
fulltime and assumed the role of financial and office operations.
Prior to this date Fern was self-employed. She maintained
the books of several smaller corporations, volunteer groups
and did the occasional company valuations for prospective
buyers. Her services also extended into interior design
for both residential and commercial projects.
Fern has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from
Algoma University-College. She has additional certificates
from various post-secondary institutions in Interior Decorating
(Honours), Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Simply Accounting
(Honours) to name a few. She is versed in a range of office
applications, Simply Accounting, Simply Pro (multi-user),
Excel, PowerPoint and EdgeBuilder project manager software.
