As an aggressive, growing company, we strive to
remain a leader in the construction industry. Education is very
important as knowledge allows us to retain a powerful competitive
edge and enhance our ability to successfully deliver a construction
project. The Gold Seal Certification (GSC) program does just that.
All Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents
and Safety Directors at Mike Moore & Sons are either Gold
Seal Certified or are in the process of becoming certified through
the Gold Seal Intern program. This initiative is our commitment
to excellence in construction management.
What is Gold Seal Certification?
Gold Seal Certification was first launched in 1993 to improve
the effectiveness of construction managers. It is a national program
offered through the Canadian Construction Association specifically
for Project Managers, Estimators, Superintendents and Safety Coordinators.
The program was developed by the Canadian Construction Association
to recognize, on a national basis, the skills and competencies
of the key managerial positions the organization. Gold Seal offers
a real degree of assurance to the industry that the individual
has attained a nationally recognized level of competence based
on three essential criteria: Experience, Education & Examination.
Equally important is the need to enhance the demand and supply
for continuous management education/training in order to keep
construction managers abreast of changing technologies and practices.
What does Gold Seal Certification
mean to you?
Simply put, the (GSC) designation is a declaration of skill and
competence that is recognized by the construction industry across
the country
What is Professional, Gold
Seal Certified (P.GSC)?
This is a new designation that is open to candidates who have

must demonstrate that he /she has worked a minimum of 600 hours
in the certified management occupation and have gained a minimum
of 20 credits in that year. Credits may be earned by formal education
in construction related courses (1 credit per 1 hour), informal
education such as seminars, conferences, self directed study or
professional meetings (1 credit per 3 hours), Community Contribution
