HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
Mike Moore & Sons Construction Ltd. is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace environment for all of its employees and subcontractors. Our commitment shall be based on the company safety values for Safety Culture, Safety Management and Specific Safety Practices. (attached in the manual)

We will comply with or exceed the Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations for Construction Projects and take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety and well being of each and every employee.

The Company, through its commitment to this Policy, recognizes the importance of safety as a priority goal and will try to eliminate or minimize the hazards which cause accidents and injuries.

It is very important that all Senior Management, Superintendents and every employee become actively involved and committed to implementing this Safety Policy. We require that all Subcontractors working for us ensure that their employee's work to our Safety Policy standards.

Owners, Architects, Engineers, Consultants and their employee's are expected to abide by our Safety Policy and the Occupational Health and Safety Act at all times while on our jobsites.

This Policy outlines the general framework against which appropriate guidelines will be developed and implemented and will be reviewed annually by all parties involved.

All employees have a legal right to refuse unsafe work as defined by the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At Mike Moore & Sons Construction, you are required to refuse unsafe work.

Accidents have no set time or place. They often occur without warning and without regard for person or place. We trust that with your help and commitment, we shall attain our goal of being accident and injury free. Always make safety number one when you are carrying out your tasks, even the smallest and quickest of tasks. Ensure that your fellow workers comply.

Mike Moore & Sons Construction is also committed to the OGCA/WSIB Safety Group and has been a member since its inception in the year 2000.

I am personally committed to this safety policy and take an active role in its formation, revisions and review. I expect that all Mike Moore & Sons Construction Ltd. employees share in my commitment to make Safety our number one priority and our Company a leader in Safety. Safety cannot and will not be taken lightly.
